Great Read

Great Read!!! HELLO MY NAME IS … is the first installment in the Miss Hyde series. I really enjoyed this novella. It’s a fast-paced, 1-sit-read. Blythe McAlister is a fully realized character that rose from the page, coming to life in my mind. The stories plot it great. As an author myself, I compliment Kindra Sowder on her creativity. She has brought an age-old horror troupe into the present day giving horror fans a well written story that’s wonderfully entertaining.

Western Spirituality demands you write your own script through the world

Western Spirituality demands you write your own script through the world. As a spiritual being everything in your life is morally charged. Nothing is neutral and there are no excuses that can be accepted. Choosing is a daily burden and one that makes you feel alive because literally everything becomes dramatically important.

This is a long haul, and if you’re here then you are taking your writing seriously. There’s lots of folks who will take your work seriously, too; you just have to reach out at us!”

I’m so proud of our students’ work on this incredible project

I’m so proud of our students’ work on this incredible project, and always happy to see my byline (and my photos!) in the Oregonian’s higher-ed blog. It’s fantastic to work with fearless people whose first instinct is to say yes when offered a creative challenge like this one. Check it out soon if you are on or near campus. #psom

Because I posted last year’s on this exact day

Because I posted last year’s on this exact day…here’s the result of me stopping you all mid conversation all summer with ‘Hang on a second… I just need to take a selfie of the day’
I had the most incredible summer and there’s so many things, places and people that were a part of it but aren’t captured here.. I’m so grateful to those who made it so special and the amazing people I met along the way 🙂
P.S. As always, it looks far better in HD!
