Sansevieria species are good air purifiers by removing toxins (such as formaldehyde, xylene and toluene) from the air, thereby gaining a reputation as a good cure for sick building syndrome.. In Korea, potted Sansevieria is commonly presented as a gift during opening ceremonies of businesses or other auspicious events. In Barbados, Sansevieria is also popularly referred to as the “money plant”, with the belief that the person having it will always have money.
I’m promoting the sustainable livelihood of urban gardeners so hope you can support this.
God, I pray for those who persecute me, those who seek to destroy the happiness in others because of the lack thereof in their own lives. I pray that they seek YOU, and find comfort in YOU, instead of hardening their hearts to the truth. Heal their broken hearts and give them strength to forgive themselves and choose a better path for their futures. Give them revelation. Give them peace. Thank you for your grace in my own life, for I know without you I’m undeserving.
#TBT to when CALPIRG helped preserve net metering and rooftop solar in California
After I got out of the wheelbarrow, it was filled with 130,000 petitions from citizens of California who support keeping incentives on solar energy, which we delivered to the CPUC! This is the most petitions they’ve received on anything ever, and it’s because people understand that keeping incentives for rooftop solar energy are integral for preserving our environment and helping marginalized communities. So proud to have been a part of this
with all the projects i’ve planned last night to work on today.. seems like the schedule will be messed up since my mom who is sick at the moment needs me to be a daughter. please pray for her, she is a very hardheaded woman who refuses to go to the hospital but despite many previous sickness, is still alive and strong enough to nag me to cook
The Bread Co is really important to me. I’ve gone there from the beginning when it was farther east and on the other side of Delmar, but still in the Loop. I’ve eaten countless baguettes. I’ve taken bagels to work, to church. We’ve bought pastries on Sunday morning for breakfast for our growing family as much as we could afford. It’s more than a store, it’s part of life. It ought to stay right where it is, but if it can’t, at least move it to another spot in the Loop – please.

Thanks Ben, for your time and the care you put into the answers, and thanks Rebecca Makkai for the assignment last semester that got this started!

Knock it off you are abusing animals that is sickening–
